The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament was a football competition that was played from March 2023 to March 2024 to determine the 23 UEFA member associations that would join hosts Germany at the final tournament in June and July 2024.

Qualifying Format

The 53 UEFA member associations were drawn into ten groups, with seven groups of five teams and three groups of six teams. The teams in each group played each other home and away in a round-robin format.

The top two teams in each group qualified directly for the final tournament. The remaining three teams in each group entered a play-off round, with the three play-off winners also qualifying for the final tournament.
